As part of their support for the care and health of our people, the Stewards of Hope Foundation, led by the founder, Rev. Fr. Dr. Canice Chinyeaka Enyiaka, donated various medical facilities to the Bishop of Ahiara Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Simeon Okezuo Nwobi, for Holy Rosary Hospital, Ogbor Nguru.
Fr. Canice Enyiaka, while addressing the bishop, told him that the foundation’s donation of various medical facilities were borne of their awareness of the great value of health. They equally decided to make donations to the hospital in order for people from outside Mbaise to benefit. The bishop gladly received the items from the foundation and thanked them for their act of generosity. He equally appreciated the efforts of those who made it possible for the items to reach the diocese. The prelate equally promised that the facilities will be used for the purpose for which they have been donated.
Stewards of Hope Foundation Inc. is a non-profit-oriented organization registered in Maryland, USA, which was founded on the belief that a little help can go a long way. Having existed for over a decade, since its establishment in 2012, the organization has shown that its singular mission is to help those in need. They provide wheelchairs to empower individuals with disabilities at no cost, foodstuffs, cash assistance to widows, educational materials to children, and other charitable items. The foundation provides the necessary resources and support that every child, adult, and community deserves.
This year, Rev. Fr. Canice Enyiaka, in the utmost concern for his home diocese, Ahiara, drew the attention of the foundation to Ahiara Diocese by donating medical facilities like microscopes, endoscopy machine, and other healthcare facilities.
