Dr. Mrs. Bibiana Acholonu demonstrates love for the Church through numerous donations

The family of Sir Felix & Dr. Mrs. Bibiana Acholonu of Amano Obohia, Ekwerazu, Ahiazu Mbaise, has consistently continued to contribute to the development and growth of St. Peter’s Parish, Amano Obohia.

This family, in their steadfast commitment to the Catholic Church, has been unstoppable in their contributions to the Church in diverse ways.

Remarkably, in August 2024, Dr. Mrs. Bibiana Acholonu, in conjunction with her Chapel Rosary Prayer Group in the USA, donated sets of two ciboria, one chalice, and one paten for use during Mass and assisted in repairing the broken tiles of the parish church building.

Further, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in collaboration with the parish and some indigenous priests of Amano Obohia, Dr. Mrs. Bibiana Acholonu instituted the “Divine Children” of St. Peter’s Parish Amano. The Divine Children association was instituted to raise funds for teaching and mentoring youngsters in the way of the Catholic faith. Dr. Mrs. Acholonu made significant monetary donations to support the seven children belonging to this newly erected organization. She clothed them with garlands and prayed for God’s special blessings on their journey as Catholics.

The Catholic community lauded these kind gestures and acts of generosity demonstrated by the Acholonu’s family and assured them of their continuous prayers.
