To the Esteemed Catholic Women Organisation (CWO), Ahiara Diocese, Nigeria.
Dear Mothers,
With a heart filled with respect, admiration, and gratitude, I warmly celebrate all our noble mothers of the Catholic Women’s Organization of Ahiara Diocese on this special occasion of Mother’s Day 2026.
Today, we pause to honor your strength, your sacrifices, your unwavering faith, and your immeasurable contributions to our families, our Church, and our society. You are the silent pillars upon which homes are built, the moral compass guiding generations, and the living embodiment of love, resilience, and grace.

Your role goes far beyond motherhood as we commonly define it. You are nurturers, teachers, intercessors, and community builders. Through your dedication to God and humanity, you have continued to preserve the values that hold our society together.
As your son and a servant of the people, I have always recognized the indispensable place of women, especially mothers, in nation-building. This conviction is deeply reflected in the vision of the Nkwa Chi Kwere Movement, where we have consistently prioritized women’s empowerment, inclusion, and opportunity creation.
Through this movement, we have remained committed to:
– Supporting women with empowerment initiatives that enhance their economic independence
– Enrolling our mothers into a health insurance programme to guarantee them access to healthcare without needing to pay out of their pocket
– Promoting inclusive participation of women in leadership and decision-making
– Providing platforms where the voices of mothers are heard, respected, and valued
– Encouraging programs that uplift families through the strength and stability of mothers.
Our mothers deserve not just to be celebrated in words but to be supported through meaningful action, and this remains my unwavering commitment.
On this Mother’s Day, I encourage every mother to continue on your noble path. Your prayers sustain our land, your wisdom shapes our future, and your love heals our world.

May God continue to strengthen you, bless the works of your hands, and grant you peace, joy, and fulfillment. May Our Blessed Mother Mary remain your perfect model and intercessor always.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful mothers of Ahiara Diocese.
Through Mary our Mother, we succeed!
Yours,
Dr. Chijioke Kaduru
Convener, Nkwa Chikwere Movement
